Wedmore Place at The Williamsburg Winery was alight with the presence of the  Associated Press' 2010 Entertainer of the Year, the effervescent Betty White. Betty came to Williamsburg this year in support of the Morris Animal Foundation courtesy of Binn's Fashion Shop of Merchant's Square. On Saturday, the Emmy award-winning TV star, who is a trustee of the Foundation, made a personal appearance at the store to sign a collection of handcrafted Christmas ornaments created by Joy To The World Collectibles.

The Foundation hosted a VIP cocktail party poolside at Wedmore Place and in the Wiley Minstrel Bar. Adding to excitement was the presence of local broadcasters from WAVY and WTKR, along with press from the Virginia Gazette.
