Set amongst the splendor of historic lands nestled on a tributary of the James River, The Williamsburg Winery is more than a World Class winery;  it is a destination. Each year, throughout the year, over 50,000 vistors come find themselves in our tranquil settings.

We offer vistors and guests our instructional Tour and Tasting, and the more comprehensive Reserve Wine Tasting conducted in our reserve cellar. Lunches and dinners are available daily (please check our schedules) at the two restaurants on property. The charm and romance of Western Europe's country inns are captured in exacting detail in the extraordinary accommodations at our luxury hotel, Wedmore Place. Events

Wine on Wednesdays - April only

Each Wednesday evening during the month of April, the winery opens its doors and Wessex Hall to four local charitable organizations for the expressed purpose of raising funds to support these important causes in our shared community. For a nominal door-charge, guests are welcomed to an evening of food and wine, with proceeds dedicated to the charity. Food and Wine Pairing Dinners Every Thursday Night

The Gabriel Archer Tavern hosts a regionally themed 4 course dinner every Thursday night.  Our Senior Wine Consultant will take guests on a educational journey of wine and food indicative of the evenings region. The dining experience begins at 6:30 PM and must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours in advance. Limited seating available. All dinners are $55 per person inclusive of all wine, taxed and gratuities unless otherwise noted. The Tidewater Cafe Racers

Here at the Winery, we do enjoy our automobiles. Perhaps it is owning to our President, Patrick Duffeler's, role in the formation of the Marlboro World Championship Team in Formula 1, but know that we never turn a deaf ear to a worthy automotive event...or in this case, events. The first Tuesday of every month, the winery plays host to formation of The Tidewater Cafe Racers- a group of itinerant auto enthusiasts whose sole purpose is to come together, without pagentry or circumstance, and celebrate their shared love of the automobile. Holiday Celebration - December 4, 2011

Each December, the Winery joins with our local restaurant partners to ring in the holiday season and raise funds for a local charitable cause.  Wessex Hall and Susan Constant Hall play host to the amazing culinary preparations of Williamsburg's best chefs, as each chef prepares a signature dish that is paired to our wines. This year, we were joined by eight partners and guests were treated to a fantastic and diverse luncheon amidst the warmth and holiday spirit of the winery.  Tickets are limited to 500, and it is strongly recommended that tickets are purchased in advance, as we (unfortunately) needed to turn away guests at the door this year.  Tickets can be purchased here on the site.
